• Gloria Gordon, President, called to order the Jesse Lake WELCA which held their January 7, 2010 meeting at 7 pm at the JLLC Fellowship Hall. Donna Bolstorff was the hostess. Nine members plus Pastor John were present.
• The Secretary's report from November 12, 2009 was read and approved.
• The Treasurer's report of January 7, 2010 was read. There is a balance in the checkbook of $2,904.41 and a saving account balance of $1,521.63 for a balance total of $4,426.04. not all figures are final due to some outstanding checks. Thrivent has presented $1,189.25 for their share of the Hunter's Supper.
• Gloria expressed gratitude to Joan Boege and Grace Hagen and Judy Trubenbach for the fun, joyful Christmas Party held at the Marcell Family Center.

OLD BUSINESS

• There were 35 cookie tins given to friends and neighbors of Jesse Lake Lutheran Church. Gloria thanked all persons who brought cookies, put them into tins and delivered them.
• One sweater was purchased and given to a person at Bigfork Villa.
• Several thank you notes from members of the Parish were received and passed around.
• Gloria asked if the Prayer Chain List should be updated. There are several people who are gone now and someone has died so that list will be updated by Gloria.
• Karen, our person who cleans has been ill. There were no comments/complaints about the cleanliness of our church at this point in time.

NEW BUSINESS

• Diane Kongsjord reported on the fundraiser for Steve Boggs. It will be held on Sunday, January 31, 11 am to 2 pm at the Marcell Family Center. There will be a spaghetti dinner, a silent auction and a bake sale. Volunteers are needed to set up tables, prepare noodles, etc. on Saturday, January 30th. Also persons are needed to make baked goods for the bake sale and help serve in Sunday, January 31st. Items are needed, too for the silent auction. Diane will place a sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall. Posters and ads in papers are already out. WELCA will donate $200.00 moved by Donna Bolstorff, 2nd by Jackie Calin and approved by all present.
• March, 2010 Living Waters' Spring Gathering is coming up. Gloria will get the dates and let us know.
• The WELCA Convention in Duluth will be held June 3,4,5. Is there anyone who would like to go as our Delegate? Please let Gloria know if you are able to go there.
• Krista Hagen has her first new grandbaby, Tyler Russell, 6 Ibs. 8 oz. Congratulations to her family!
• It was moved by Judy Truebenbach and 2nd by Rhonda Nichols to purchase a DVD/Video combination for the Fellowship Hall. Approved by all present. Judy will see to this purchase.
• On February 4, 2010 next month's meeting will be at the home of Judy Truebenbach.
• Meeting was adjourned. We prayed 'The Lord's Prayer'.
• Pastor John Hanson led us in an enlightening Bible Study based on Matthew 2.
